About Kakveda

What is Kakveda?

Kakveda is an open-source failure intelligence platform for modern AI and LLM-based systems.

The name comes from "Kaak" (crow) and "Veda" (knowledge), inspired by Kaak Bhushundi — a symbol of long-term memory and observation. The inspiration is conceptual rather than historical: the idea of remembering what others forget.

Modern AI practices evolve rapidly, but most reliability and observability tools still treat failures as transient logs. As models, prompts, and agents change quickly, the same failure modes often repeat because systems lack persistent failure memory.

Kakveda addresses this gap by treating failures as structured knowledge that can be remembered, matched, and acted upon — enabling pre-flight warnings, pattern detection, and system-level health tracking for AI systems.
